The founding of MAQPRO was heavily influenced by Michel Deruelle, a famous make-up artist and master to the stars, for whom the make-up products had to meet the needs of filming make-up. He worked with such stars as Elizabeth Taylor, Gérard Depardieu, Romy Schneider and many others. However, make-up products sold with the help of a make-up artist have not reached real customers in wide markets. So, in 2007 MAQPRO has developed a new business structure with a dual commercial focus: special effects products for professionals and beauty products for professionals and the general public.
